Preparation

Before the lesson, fill in the cards with questions and answers.

How to play

1. Question and answer

Students are given a set of domino cards. They should match a question to an appropriate answer. This also works well as a 'follow me' loop game around the room or as a straightforward game of dominoes.

2. Key word or phrases

Give each student a domino card. Each half of the domino should have a key word or phrase and a definition. Students have to match the key word or phrase with the correct definition.

This works well as a 'follow me' loop game around the room or as a straightforward game of dominoes.

There are 32 cards, meaning each game could be played individually, in pairs or in small groups to produce a complete ordered set of cards.

Hexbuster Powerpoint is brilliant. Would it be possible in an updated version to introduce the facility to have 3 teams instead of 2?

Many thanks
