Review this resource3 (e) is misleading. If the bicycle speeds up then the wind resistance will have increased. Could change this to "pedals harder"

Excellent questions.
But watch out for wrong answer on the bicycle question:
"ii. Speed has no effect on the frictional force between the bicycle and the road surface."
2 problems here: frictional force between bike and road surface does not oppose the motion, rather it is in the the same direction as the motion. If what is meant is the rolling resistance of the tyre, then this will increase with speed. As will all the friction which opposes the motion, for example friction in the chain drive.
