Pressure in liquids
A pressure worksheet, perfect for KS3 forces unit, which summarises pressure in liquids.
In the first task, students consider three different pieces of apparatus, a beaker, a pump and a spouting can, and how water will behave in each one. Ask students to predict what they think will happen in the diagrams then show them a demonstration or video clip.
Students look at an image of divers in the second task. There are two scales on the diagram – one for pressure and one for depth – which students need to read to answer the questions and convert to a graph.
