Maths skills in Science – rearranging equations
This maths skills resource is perfect to use when reminding students how to rearrange equations. It would be ideal to use when starting an equation heavy topic such as motion in physics.
There are three activities which build up to rearranging equations:
Task 1 - identifying the subject of an equation
Task 2- solving problems that don't need an equation to be rearranged
Task 3 - using the step-by-step guide students solve problems that need an equation to be rearranged.
This resource is perfectly complemented by our set of Maths skills in Science posters.
