The cheesy rock cycle

This is a resource for a complete lesson. It includes instructions for how to model the rock cycle by making (and perhaps eating) a cheese toastie. Students love it, and should never forget the rock cycle again! It also includes easily differentiated tasks for getting the pupils to analyse what they've seen and evaluate the demonstrations' effectiveness as a model.

Fun idea. I think this could be really good with Yr 8's.
