The KS4 resource helps illustrate electrolysis. It goes through electrolysis step by step with animations.

There are questions for students at several points through the PowerPoint to check their understanding. Explanations and answers are included throughout the resource.

Having submitted this resource as an animated PowerPoint several years ago it is interesting to see that someone has edited and updated it. I do not mind the changes but it seems odd that it can happen without my approval. The only thing wrong is the image that is now used to promote the activity as it represents a galvanic cell rather than electrolysis so does not match the title nor the content

So I pressed enter too soon - and couldn't find a way to edit /remove my previous review. My point was that the image on this resource was an electrochemical cell and I was looking for electrolysis - which the actual resource was about - and quite good too! I just think someone needs to switch the 'front' image so people don't discount looking at the rest of it!!

That's an electrochemical or galvanic cell - not electrolysis.
