Revision
Use this KS4 resource to introduce conservation of mass. It begins by setting the scene in a company manufacturing food flavourings and the importance of understanding conservation of mass to them.
It looks at equations to illustrate that the number of atoms are conserved in a reaction before moving on to the mass. It moves on to calculating using relative formula masses to find how much product can be produced. The PowerPoint has several worked through examples and questions for students.
The answers are included.
